I started writing poems when I was 6 years old. The piano was the first instrument I've laid my hands on. The classical lessons and recitals were part of my training. By the age of 11, I decided to ditch the keys and move on to something more "cool"............ the guitar. ​ "Guitarman" by Bread was my first guitar piece.. easy with the key of G to begin with. I recall playing Dad's guitar more often than him. But memories of the family having a jam in the lounge before starting the day has given me lots of inspiration through the years. I grew up in a family of musicians. My parents and 2 siblings plays the piano and guitar.. of course singing has always been part of the culture. "the Pearl of the Orient Seas" .. an archipelago... the Philippines, my roots, where it all begun. ​ I started writing songs by the age of 21 and a broken heart was to blame. I joined a few bands back home but playing more of covers. By the time I move to Singapore, I started exposing my first composition
