A four year sea change in the land of the long white cloud (NZ) has done nothing to dull the thrill of song writing or live performance for singer songwriter John Hamilton (AKA– juan los bastardos). Moving away from bass playing duties with Sheyana and The Janets here in Tasmania was a hard choice but also opened the opportunity to hone his solo career. Two years of playing the traps solo and acoustic progressed to the formation of a whole new three peice act (juan los bastardos) in Auckland in 2006 and a recording project to boot. Fate though has landed him happily back in Tasmania. As with most artists the want to perform and express himself is as strong as ever.
