Young Melbourne alt-rock band Jubal return to the fold with their debut self-produced EP, a vibrant, heartfelt release recorded across the city through our coldest summer in memory. They play a brand of music impossible to define, that somehow radiates an innate fondness and familiarity for their songs. The second half of 2010 was a busy time for the band as, after playing together for less than six months, they found themselves playing crowded headline shows at the Wesley Anne and Gertrude's Brown Couch, and supporting upcoming Australian artists Owl Eyes and Tash Parker. They subsequently spent the summer preparing and recording what is the band's first physical release.
