While riding his bicycle around Europe and America, sleeping and camping at stranger’s places and walking around barefoot, Contemporary Singer of the Year 2010 (Sydney Eisteddfod Challenge of Performing Arts NSW) Julien Mueller melted his own style of music using classical training, a passion for old-school jazz and swing and the soulful melodies and lyrics of folk songs. As soon as he puts on his tuxedo Julien delivers a brilliant vocal performance while maintaining style and charm of golden-day Jazz performers. Old standards like “Fly Me To The Moon” and “New York, New York” are brought to new life once Julien starts pouring his emotions, feelings and his humour into those old melodies and will stick to the ears of people of any age. Besides performing in a Tuxedo Julien also writes his original music. The stories he sings while playing his guitar are healing ones. His lyrics are deep and they are filled with passion for a noble humanity, excellence and moments shared.
