Juliet
Juliet Gibson is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Wodonga. She plays a mixture of Indie/Acoustic covers and originals. Previously playing with her sister, they won National awards, and created a professional music video. Now that her sister has moved away, Juliet has gone solo in the local area, creating a name for herself in her own right.
Remember when you looked at your first love and realised you were ‘just a little bit of falling in love’ – scratch that, ‘totally in love’? That’s Totally: a catchy, romantic, rock-pop track about the magic of young summer love. The debut single from Juliet, it’s instantly unforgettable. Juliet began writing songs one day after school when, on a whim, she picked up her dad's old guitar. Her unique brand of guitar-driven, rock-influenced pop is catchy, hook-laden, and from the heart. Juliet's debut single, Totally, has received airplay from stations such as Brisbane’s 4ZZZ and Tasmania’s 98.9 Tygr FM. Her EP is currently under final production for an early 2019 release, and her song 'Smile' has been optioned by the Channel 9/Amazon Prime TV show ‘Counter Play’, screening on in 2019.
