With a neat sound of Funk, Hip Hop and Rock the Jungle Monx make their noises using 88 keys, 10 strings, a swad of skins and 3 sets of vocal chords. They are an all original, high energy and diverse band whose music will take you on a journey of groove – a wave of highs and lows. Formed in 2008, the Jungle Monx have blended from different areas of the Brisbane music scene through chance meetings. An order began, their funk flowed freely, and a band was formed. Fast forward to today and the Jungle Monx have been gigging in Brisbane's West End and The Valley, appearing at The Globe’s “Funk ‘n Soul’d Out” shows on numerous occasions. Recent studio time has also allowed the Jungle Monx to create their debut CD release "Whale of a World". "Whale of a World" is available now through the Jungle Monx.
