Jürgen Joarder is of Indian and German background and born in London. He moved to Sydney over 20 years and ago and has always played music. He was guitarist with Sydney band The Vegas Nerves who released an album in 2018 An Act Of Faith that has been played on community radio as well as commercial radio. At the beginning of 2019 Jürgen created his own band Driving South which included members of The Vegas Nerves to work on his own material. Driving South have been playing gigs around Sydney and have started to put on and promote their own gigs and try and help get local bands playing live. Driving South have no current plans to record their songs, so Jürgen is going to record some of their songs as a solo act which gives him an opportunity to work on stripped down versions of the songs that Driving South have been playing live over the last few months.
