23 year-old, Iranian-born K.I.A is a breath of fresh air in the ever-changing scene of Aussie Hip Hop. Having fallen in love with music at an early age, K.I.A uses his music as a gateway; welcoming all to his world. in 2016 K.I.A was one of 3 Australian artists discovered by TeamBackPack's Mission Underground New York and was invited out to NY to display skills from down under. Ever since then, the work that has gone into K.I.A's music has tripled, borrowing banging beats from the connections in the U.S and recording professionally instead of at home. "I create the music that I want to hear, not the music that people want to hear."
