Chinese Indonesian producer Kenneth Phang hides behind the mantle he has created via Kalofthecode - a bedroom artist and persona, who's musicality embodies a nostalgic and reflective tone, creating an almost cinematic touch. With a background in Music and Sound Design (UTS) and cinematography. Kalofthecode's audio influences leak between both passions, creating lo-fi ambiance of filtered percussions, layered vocals and harmonic strength between the instruments in his songs. With influences in punk to progressive metal and settling for a life of acoustic simplicity and downtempo beats, Kalofthecode's music has been described to be of it's own calibre, not defined by a genre.
