Kampei are a group of truly talentless yet fortunate musicians. After escaping from compuslory service in the Lebanon national army these kids worked on an oil tanker as jizz moppers in the "mess" hall to gain sanctuary in a mystical far away land where people rode kangaroos to work and slept in gum trees with the koalas, and most of all could go on the dole to support their lack of motivation to do anything but drink beer and occasionally play a show. So on arrival in this wonderful country the kampei kids took up a life of celibacy and prayer in the house of jesus christ and latter day saints. But this was not enough, something just didnt sit right, what is the good of living in a country that has beer and the dole but you cant exercise your right to use either?
