Making music together, a world apart. That’s the mantra of production duo, Karosella, who produce high energy and melodic dance-pop. Blending euphoric pianos with upbeat pop guitars, Karosella specialise in electronic beach party anthems full of optimistic, love-at-first-listen hooks. It’s not the first time Titu (based in Melbourne, Australia) and Sam (London, UK) have collaborated. Meeting at Leeds University on a music degree, the pair formed the rock band Armstrong, which gave them their first taste of success in the UK Top 40 charts. Their next steps saw Sam take on a teaching career at The BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology; overseeing the development of songwriting, production and stagecraft of acts such as Black Midi, Rex Orange County, Raye and Jade Bird. Whilst Sam was honing the UK’s next emerging artists, Titu joined hit factory Xenomania (Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, Sugababes) at their studios in Kent.
