They say, there’s only so much you can do in Adelaide. But for those in the know, Adelaide is a fertile breeding ground for undiscovered rock and one of the bands doing the hard yards away from the spotlight is KASAVETT - that, however, is all about to change. The core of KASAVETT is Dan (vox/guitar), Phil (bass/vox), Silvano (drums), and together they’ve developed an energetic rock sound that has been impressing punters around the country. Formed at the beginning of 2003, the boys wasted no time in pushing their take on alternative rock in front of people’s faces - and for a band that hadn’t been around long, managed to play some awesome rocking shows with the likes of Spiderbait, Frenzal Rhomb and Dallas Crane. The 2004 ‘Panic Attack’ EP helped to kick things up a notch as well, with live fave ‘Anode’ getting a spin on Triple J’s Home and Hosed with Robbie Buck, while ‘She Lights Me’ was picked up and placed on rotation by UK station Pulse FM and ‘Leave it to me’ getting heavy
