Kat Wyld is a producer and singer-songwriter making music on Eora land. Their debut single, 'Light From The Microwave' is out now. It is the first single off their upcoming debut EP. Their music focuses on the magic of the bittersweet, bringing the beauty out of sadness and the yearning out of euphoria. Their narrative-based songwriting blends an indie, electro, and dance pop sound with influences ranging from Carly Rae Jepsen and Kimbra to Porter Robinson and Beach House. Their imagery rich lyrics and catchy melodies are head-bop inducing and yet deeply confessional. They discovered producing working with theatre sound design. That experience lives on in the cinematic, theatrical soundscape of their music and visuals. Kat’s music expresses their deepest fears and desires - the heart-exploding feeling of new love, the world-shattering experience of losing it, and the magic and mayhem of witnessing the world with an ADHD brain.
