My names Katy Smyrk I'm 17 years old. I started writing songs as a way to express myself, an outlet for all those pent up teenage emotions. i find writing music very therepeutic and comforting. and i love singing and songwriting, i think music is a way of life, i like to think that one day i can influence people with my music the way others have influenced me. I try to be as honest and open in my music as i can, i think its the emotion in music which makes it accesible and beautiful.
