Edit history

Kazra is a four-piece psychedelic electronic rock band made up of members Xavier Froger, Pirapong Dick, Scott Ovens and Zarutt Malai. Originally started in Melbourne as a solo project in 2018, Xavier released his own psychedelic electro pop mix-tape during the Corona-Virus lockdowns but had always imagined Kazra as a band. With the end of lockdowns and keen to collaborate, Xavier began creating music with Thailand-based high school friends and musical producers Pirapong Dick and Scott Ovens. Having played together before and able to instantly have a strong connection, the three quickly decided they should come together as a band. Pirapong and Scott introduced Xavier to accomplished Bangkok-based musician Zarutt Malai (Bikini, Zamzenlazer ,หิน ผา กา ดาบ and Teething) and the four members of Kazra were finally together.
