Keato is the solo venture of Harry Keating, which is me. I’m writing my own bio. I tried to write in third person as if someone else had a really well informed opinion of what my music is all about. Flowery language, detailed descriptions of the sonics - the whole nine yards. But I thought it would be better if I just did my best to explain what I’m trying to accomplish. I’m addicted to writing catchy hooks/melodies and I try to be detailed and thoughtful with my production. You could describe my sound a DIY indie pop/R&B blend - which honestly has been done to death - but I like to think my take on it has its own personality. I love songwriting. Often I write a song on just the guitar, and then go in later and flesh out the rest of the song with production that supports the intent and emotion of the original song. I'm also obsessed with creating visuals for my music. I make my own cover art and music videos. I love the process of building a little world for people to explore.
