Kee’ahn (they/she/nyulu) is a proud Kuku Yalanji, Jirrbal, and Torres Strait Islander songwriter and performer hailing from North Queensland. Kee'ahn's name derives from the Wik language, meaning to dance and to play, and she has been doing just that since childhood — singing, dancing, and playing guitar with a deep love for the sounds of soul, R&B, and pop. Since emerging in 2020 with the powerful debut single Better Things, Kee’ahn has continued to enchant audiences with lush melodies, rich vocals, and storytelling that speaks to hope, healing, and cultural strength. Kee’ahn’s presence in the Australian music landscape is a grounding and luminous one. Through every note, they invite audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and remember the power of connection — to self, to culture, to Country, and to each other.
