Recording everything from his small Melbourne bedroom in hopes to find clarity, KEEPSAFE’s Isaiah has managed to create a sound that feels like himself. After playing in bands and doing guitar work for artists all around Australia, KEEPSAFE is an avenue for Isaiah to express himself wholeheartedly. With topics of uncertainty and growth that are surrounded by lush drowned out sounds – he just wants to make music for daydreaming to. Gaining a warm reception from his debut shoegaze influenced dream pop release ‘Joe (losing touch)’, KEEPSAFE is back and continuing this sound with his follow up ‘Statelines’ - a representation of self reflection and worth. The writing process started mid 2020 when the disarray of the world reflected his own mindset. Not knowing what the song would turn into, it ironically began to shadow KEEPSAFE’s personal situation exactly - using this premise to finish it two years later. Be well and keep safe x
