Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Kelsey got given a guitar at age 16 as a concession to a brief lack of enthusiasm towards her piano. Some dorm down time and a trip to Europe later.... She released her debut EP Apocrypha in her hometown summer 2006. That set off a year of steady openers and headlining gigs at various nooks and crannies around Vancouver, and she was having a lot of fun, before deciding to throw it all away and move to Sydney for a boy. Since arriving in Sydney she has entertained at such venerable institutions as the Sandringham in Newtown, the Boatshed in Manly, and a few restaurants you’ve probably never heard of.
