Born in Kalgoorlie in Western Australia in 1973, My family moved to a small town called Newman in the north of Western Australia. Growing up in a small town had its ups and downs, with no real music options, The town had nothing to offer me and so i never opened my mind and heart to music. It wasn't until Febuary 2007 after attending a birthday party did i pick up a guitar for the first time, feeling the Axe in my hand, I new that from that moment on, I wanted to learn how to play and Dark Angel was born. Music was never high on my list of things I ever wanted to do when i was growing up. Never really playing the radio, never watching Countdown or any of the music shows that were ever on T.V. I grew up only knowing the songs that my father played while we traveled around Western Australia. Westerns and old songs that you never hear on the radio anymore, are all the songs I knew. Mum liked Elvis so I learned a lot of his songs, But still I never really wanted to play an instrument.
