Keshet is a Perth-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist creating ambitious music that bridges rock, orchestral, theatrical and cinematic worlds. Best known for his original rock opera The Diments and immersive musical The Hollow Cause, he writes, arranges, orchestrates, records, mixes and produces his music independently. His latest release, The Hollow Cause (feat. Jemma Rix), brings together a 50-piece orchestra recorded in Budapest, UK gospel choir Soul Sanctuary, and one of Australia's leading musical theatre performers. The result is a cinematic rock ballad about rebuilding after trauma, combining symphonic scope with contemporary rock production. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Meat Loaf, Queen, The Who, Muse and film composers alike, Keshet's music is driven by storytelling, big emotions and a belief that ambitious, large-scale original music still has a place in the modern world.
