Originally from Egypt but now residing in Perth, Australia, music artist Killer Kitty YT was recently voted as “the most promising House Cat artist of the year” by the readers of Cat Nap Magazine. On the back of not much, Killer Kitty YT has just leaked his first music video onto YouTube to promote the single ‘Funky Feline’. A much anticipated album is due early next year. Killer Kitty YT consists of DJ MF, an artist influenced by 1990’s House Cat Beats as well as his own traditional Egyptian roots. As part of the new generation of bedroom producers bred out by the rise in popularity of home studios, MF’s recording style is relaxed and often interrupted by dream sequences, a result of daily naps.
