In 2016, Kilo moved to Bendigo from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, over 2.5 hours away. Determined to continue working at my job in the city, Kilo began commuting 5 hours to work per day. It was on these drives to work that Kilo began honing is freestyle skills to become the lyrical beast he is today. Like many of us, Kilo works a normal 9-5 job and must be on his best behaviour at all times during the work week. That is if he wants to eat. Kilo’s personality however is naturally rebellious and irreverent. That being said, Kilo is also kind and fights for the rights of oppressed people. Kilo cant stand injustice and dis-empowerment of any people who do not deserve it, regardless of race, religion, sexuality etc. What ever bloats your scroat. These core beliefs come through in Kilo’s music as well as some good old fashioned laughs. Kilo wants you to feel empowered, assured of your place in the world and ready to step up into the world and life you want.
