A Port Douglas resident for over 10 years now, Kim is a regular performer both as a solo artist and as part of an acoustic cover duo called Easy Pickings. Having recently received a RADF grant from the Cairns Regional Council to record her debut Ep, Kim’s warm, seductive and rootsy sound will showcase the talents of incredible local musicians. With music hero’s such as Bertie Blackman, Clare Bowditch, KT Tunstall and Sia Furler, Kim hopes to deliver a collection of songs with substance, honest reflection and just a dash of grit for added measure. Her repertoire of diverse originals reflects mature musings lyrically, fused with a contemporary folk ‘n’ rock edge that will no doubt appeal to audiences of all ages.
