Edit history

After a couple of years of laying down the foundations and a number of big releases for King Brown, the 4 have now become 5 as they enter a whole new era and new dynamic within the band. With the addition of Jake Coulter (previously Candy Guts/The Drools/The Southern River Band) taking over the drums, Brendon Cross is now a fully fledged frontman bringing every bit of energy and excitement you can imagine. With classic Rock N Roll at the forefront of their sound, there’s a wide range of influences to be heard combining classic rock and blues with a modern indie sensibility. Breaking through to national audiences via Triple J in 2021 and putting on their own sell out mini-festival is only the beginning. Band Members Ash Kennedy (Lead guitar) Ben Salmin (Bass/Backing Vocals) Brendon Cross (Vocals/Keys/Percussion) Jake Coulter (Drums) Shaun Kennedy (Rhythm guitar/ Backing Vocals)

King Brown is an indiginous hip hop entity based in the Blue Mountains of NSW. He is an energetic performer with fierce lyrics of determination and armed with the sense of humour that can rock a tongue in cheek party pleaser with the ease and clarity of Emminem and the hard egde of rage Against The Machine.
