Lizzie and Keely are housemates from Wollongong who have been playing music together since they moved in with each other in 2017. Keely is currently studying music at the University of Wollongong, with ambitions to become an audio engineer. She is classically trained in singing and has been playing the guitar since 2012. Lizzie studies journalism at the University of Wollongong with ambitions to work in radio or music journalism. She is classically trained in singing, started playing the piano at age 8 and is self-taught in guitar. They describe their sound as the potential lovechild of Alex Lahey, Alex the Astronaut and Ruby Fields with lyrical inspiration from The Smith Street Band and Gang of Youths. Every song they write has stemmed from a defining moment in both their lives. From being dumped, not having enough money for rent, to being evicted from a sharehouse for it to be knocked down, every lyric is boasts a raw balance between honesty, tragic irony and being #relatable.
