Final mastering on the forthcoming GET ON THE RIDE OR STEP ASIDE is currently being negotiated and the band are expecting a July release. GET ON THE RIDE OR STEP ASIDE is the culmination of KINGPIN's successful 12 IN 12 project of 2005, where the band received government arts funding assistance to write, record and release on single per month for twelve months. KINGPIN have supported and toured parts of Australia with NICKELBACK, THE LIVING END, GRINSPOON, THE SUPERJESUS, KILLING HEIDI, LIFEHOUSE, DEFAULT and THIRSTY MERC to name but a few. KINGPIN toured the UK in 2002 as part of the inaugural FIERCE FESTIVAL, alongside SPIDERBAIT, REGURGITATOR, MIDNIGHT OIL and EVEN.
