KIORE is a Brisbane born artist with a heart that reaches the farthest corners of the earth. Inspired by the sounds and stories around and within, every song she writes aims to be an experience that can be shared, treasured and celebrated. Her creative, community-centred spirit is driven by reflections of her proud Maori and Cook Islander heritage, which is one of the many facets of her being that she explores in her writing.
KIORE's "old soul" style and passion for storytelling is indicative of her self-proclaimed style of “Heart and Soul”, which verges on fusions of anything from Soul, RnB, Pop, Jazz and Funk to create a dynamic, interactive soundscape for her audience. Her essence and direction aims to continue along a journey of discovering and uncovering, listening and speaking stories that are underpinned by various musical scapes and explorations.
