Kiri is urgent. Like, terrifyingly urgent. They play music because it’s necessary. Because they believe in a truth. Their truth, your truth. Their debut self-titled release (out now through Lacklustre Records and Eunoia Collective) is a celebration of choice. Choice to create and search for similarities, in places where they may not present as immediately obvious, and the concurrent choice to respect the beauty and necessity of difference. It’s an invitation to think, and to revel in your contribution as a listener – a contribution that is equal to that of creator. Kiri will embark on a full national tour in November playing with the likes of Full of Hell (US), The Smith Street Band, Idylls. Mere Women, Stockades, The Front Bottoms (US), Apologies I Have None (UK), and Sparkspitter in support of their 7" record. Kiri are stimulation for the nervous system. If they make you tick, then whatever they’re doing – it’s working. +++our kiri is your kiri+++

Kiri
Bio history
A familiar face in Sydney’s singer-songwriter scene, producer and multi-instrumentalist Kiri has worked with artists like Indira Elias, Romaeo, and Tesse while quietly developing her own unique sound. Her 2021 self-titled debut EP blended introspective themes with ambient electronic layering, earning her recognition from Triple J, Triple R, and FBI’s Independent Artist of the Week. After a year of writing in rural Australia, Kiri has re-emerged in Melbourne with a fresh, more playful sound—exploring love, intimacy and yearning. Teaming up with long-time friend Bblzebub, the duo have co-produced a genre-blending mixtape that channels Kiri’s early love for Destiny’s Child and Dido into lush harmonies, cheeky lyrics, and bold production. Kiri’s first single, I Like It, will be released on May 2nd, followed by a full album later in 2025.
Adelaide based 17 year old pop singer/songwriter/producer Returning with single "Better Then"
Kiri Joyce is a singer/songwriter from Canberra, ACT, but calls Melbourne home. She started performing in small bars around Melbourne in 2008, immersing herself in the Melbourne music scene. A self-taught pianist, lways inspired by classic jazz singers like Julie London and Ella Fitgerald, Kiri's sound is a mix of pop, swoon, and a "little of the angry chick stuff. When I grow up I secretly want to be Fiona Apple". Kiri is looking to release her debut EP towards the end of the year.
