Melbourne/Naarm-based producer Kitsch Kitchen unveils Fractures; an evocative new EP showcasing electronic grooves with organic saxophone textures and jazz sensibilities. Recorded and produced in bedrooms, living rooms and studios across Melbourne and London, Fractures builds on the immersive soundscapes of previous releases. This EP sees Kitsch Kitchen embracing a rich palette of genres. A seasoned drummer and touring artist (Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird), Reid has channeled years of musical experience into this deeply personal project. From the atmospheric piano performances of Zoltan Fecso (Fractures) and Peter Corrigan (Tessellate) to Oliver Whitehead’s powerful and emotive saxophone that adorns the majority of the EP, and Michael Belsars’ mixing prowess, Fractures feels alive with collaboration and creative energy.
