Knate has been playing in bands for 15 years off and on as a drummer but didn't discover his vocal talents and the depth of his song-writing ability until a couple of years ago. He decided to swap sticks for picks to see if a bit of guitar work might enhance his creative abilities. To tell the truth however, he still can't use a pick but his funky and sometimes ballistic approach to his rhythms make for a great percussiony sound off the 6 string.
