Knitting for Beginners is the solo project of local Sydney musician Clare Ivers. KfB doesn't really have a musical agenda or genre, it goes where Clare's brain goes which is sometimes weird. Expect anything! KfB strikes a balance between humorous observations of life, commentary on political and social issues and unbridled hedonism. Oh, and the occasional platitude where the need to rhyme demands it. KfB wants to bring you cool hooks and catchy melodies. Cos why not have it all? Clare is also a founding member of the band Split Dogs with Paul Dawkins, her childhood friend and accomplice.
