Kodiak Galaxy are a 4-piece dreampop/post punk outfit based in Melbourne, Australia. The group create hauntingly beautiful, melancholic songs, with a sound that is at once fresh and nostalgic. The band consists of Adam Boal (Vocals and Guitar), Miranda Holt (Drums), Lewis O’Brien (Bass) and Jake Elwood Grant (Guitar), who together create dissonant sound textures balanced with incredibly catchy melodies. Introspective and (almost) brutally honest lyrics mixed with Boal’s distinct vocal style adds to the dreamily melodic guitars, with an unrelenting and hard-hitting rhythm section. The shoegazey group of 4 create controlled chaos with their performances, producing an unwavering live sound to the audience.
