When Kolors appeared with a fresh lineup in late 2018 they quickly started making waves in the Darwin Music Scene. The four-piece Darwin band smash out original songs from a wide palette of influences, like rock, funk, pop, blues and jazz. Lead singer Phoebe Wear has won multiple awards for her song writing abilities, namely the 2017 People’s Choice NT Song of the Year, and when backed by James Rooney on bass, Nic Jeffrey on drums and Kieran Pearce on guitar this quartet pumps out a wall of sound that you definitely will not miss. Kolors have recently taken to the studio, working to refine their sound, with one thing in mind, a laser focus on producing high quality, music that will stand up to any classic. They are preparing to release a 6-7 song EP later this year.
