Out of the chaotic scene that was West End in Brisbane circa 2008-2012 in a smokey dive named The Music Kafe one side of the the cities underbelly thrived. Local legends ruled the weeknight slots amongst the steady flow of fringe dwellers whilst bands from the wider Brisbane sort refuge in the grappa soaked floor boards on the weekend. It was a place where Smackies mixed with Geologists and Musicians danced with their devils, a place where worldly pleasures were bought and sold with every breath, the perfect place to plug in.
