Kormak, born, is not just another Australian producer taking the world by storm, he is one of a kind. His music journey was heritage-inspired and began by cutting edits of Turkish classics for the local migrant community in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. “Rage” featured religiously in his family tv room on a weekly basis, it is this indulgence of incredible music and an obsession with Armand Van Heldens sound that triggered Kormak to the concept of sampling and music production at a very young age. Residencies in the infamous Kings Cross district provided Kormak with an outlet to develop his unique performing style. Kormak’s signature brand of house music blurs the lines between classic and modern interpretations of the genre, and as a result has found homes among an impressive list of international labels. Over the years, Kormak’s sound has truly outgrown his Sydney roots, making a bold arrival on the European circuit.
