Kornerupine are a Melbourne based alternative group who have only just come together between February and May 2007. The result and attention gathering is very exciting! The recordings are done by Peter Haren, hailing from St Kilda. The band draws influences from the likes of Janes Addiction, Incubus, Muse, Butterfly Effect, U2, Jeff Buckley and PJ Harvey The combination of Liz Elliot's beautiful harmonic vocals combined with the raw edgy sometimes clean cut sounds of Rossa McCann layed ontop of the driven bass of James Issacson and solid beats provided by Chris Bodin, giving Kornerupine a full and interesting sound.
