Kristen started playing music at the tender age of 5 when she first placed her small fingers on a piano. After a few years she gave up the piano as she didn't enjoy practicing and felt it was too hard. However, that feeling didn't last. She couldn't escape her passion for music, and at the age of 14, she went back to the piano and started writing songs. She was more interested in singing in her teenage years, and started taking lessons whilst using the piano to accompany her voice. She spent her first 5 years of vocal lessons learning from Young Talent Time's Steven Zammit. She performed in front of classmates during her high school years and was noticed in singing competitions around Melbourne. Kristen's original music in her teenage years that reflected the typical teenage angst and wild emotional states. She wrote meaningful lyrics at a young age, and knew that music would become more than just a hobby. In year 12 she realised she wanted to make it a career out of music. She
