Formed in Launceston, Tasmania in early 2003, Kronik is a fusion of heavy rock, funky rhythms and hip-hop vocals, think Rage Against the Machine meets Red Hot Chili Peppers, then mix in some Aussie hip-hop and you’ll be getting close. To date Kronik has played many gigs in and around Launceston as well as in Hobart and have received a lot of positive feedback. They are currently considering an offer from a local record label and are listed to play at the Coastal Vibes Festival featuring well known Aussie acts such as Bliss n Eso, Muph & Plutonic and Pegz. Kronik are currently in the process of recording their self produced debut LP (Ear Infektion) of which, samples can be heard on Triple J Unearthed. Their current set contains over an hour of original material that has to be heard to be believed.
