Bio history
Brendan Kudakwashe, aka Kuda, is a Melbourne-based producer of Zambian and Zimbabwean heritage, known for blending Multiple Genres with electronic textures. Inspired by Metro Boomin, Benny Blanco, and Calvin Harris, Kuda’s genre-crossing sound fuses melody, innovation, and cultural connection. He’s worked with ONEFOUR, Bally Boy, Sydney Yungins, and Nardean, and helped shape the sound of rising artist Jverse. In 2023, he joined the JBL x Martin Garrix Creator Camp in Amsterdam, followed by APRA’s SongHubs Beat Camp in NZ with JessB. In 2025, Kuda went viral on TikTok for a video addressing Australia’s tall poppy syndrome, calling for unity in the music scene. The response sparked a wave of cross-genre collaborations, including “Myself” featuring Tassia and Somer—born from that movement and the first of many community-driven releases aimed at shifting culture through collaboration.
