One morning, a customer at the cafe I worked at had a basket of stuff she was taking to Cash Converters, and in there was an old Nintendo Gameboy. I offered her $20, and it became mine. I played around with LSDJ for a little while, but nothing much came of it, until one night, on the couch in Seydisfjordur Iceland, I began composing a tune that became my first real Gameboy jam. I continued working on it in the evenings, and during my down time in Iceland. Eventually it became something addictive that I felt compelled to continue. Months on down the line, back in Melbourne, I've done a few successful performances, and am looking to make more crazy sounds and see what happens as I explore the deeper world of chip music.
