KWILLS emerged out of southern Japan in early 2005. An Aussie with a guitar, an American with a viola and a New Zealander with a djembe got together to make some music and impose it on the generally bemused but happily receptive Japanese population of Sasebo, Kyushu. A couple of bakery gigs and a Navy Base concert later, KWILLs headed into the dank basement of a local corner store to put some songs to tape. After a few hours 'Sasebo Swansong' was complete and only a couple of days later Kelly, Will & Susanna returned to their respective corners of the world... but I reckon they'll be back.
