Described as a painter of songs, Kylie's deeply heartfelt stories of love, forgiveness and small-town memories are delivered in a unique yet warmly familiar sentiment. Kylie grew up in Gumbaynggirr Country in Northern NSW. The semi-rural village of Fernmount is located just ouside of Bellingen in the Northern Rivers district between the mountains and the sea. Going back to her Bellingen roots, she has drawn on her childhood and mother's love of music for inspiration. With stories of being fearless like a magpie, the Bellinger valley, hot summer nights and old man dreaming, Kylie's compositions are endearingly genuine. Her latest album 'Light as a Feather' has taken a new musical direction from her previous albums.
