La Kasbah is the amalgam of three young musicians from the suburbs of Brisbane, Australia, who would dearly love to be unearthed from the unsigned musical wilderness by you, the archetype grassroots music listener. Fusing elements of indie guitar rock, funk, blues, and a DIY punk ethic, La Kasbah have a learned appreciation for rock history, yet still are armed with a sense of originality and the desire to blow you away. For singer/guitarist Alex Condon, bassist/occasional keyboardist Matt Hickey, and drummer Ben Crook, making sure their audience is sufficiently entertained is a number one priority, as no one likes a band that lacks energy and enthusiasm.
