Mornington Peninsula (ninch), up and coming artist Laaland Clare has been forging his sound since his first EP, Deep Blue Demos, back in 2020. Drawing influence from bands such as The Allah-Las, Mac Demarco and The Grogans, Laaland went on to release two more EPs, and an Album in the following two years. While Laaland is fresh to the music scene, his DIY attitude and commitment to improving his sound shows great promise as he strives to bring back old, forgotten sounds to a modern audience in new and exciting ways.
