*LAAME is 19 Years old Carl Gai's electronic music project. * Musically trained as a jazz and rock guitarist, Carl served as a guitarist from 2013 - 2015 in a local indie rock band and performed at various iconic Sydney Venues such as The Valve Bar and Museum of Contemporary Arts whilst competing and placing in multiple battle of the bands competitions around Sydney. Influenced by the sounds of Flume, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Porter Robinson, Carl decided to sell most of his guitar equipment and pursue a new musical direction in 2016 which lead to the creation of his solo project LAAME. LAAME is a very diverse and eclectic project, it draws influences from various branches of EDM such as Future Bass, Future House, and Electro House to create a personalised style of Dance Music. In the past year, LAAME has released multiple originals, collaborated with local artists such as Chelsea Berman, Sultan Taufik and Dominic Kavo whilst having performed in various venues around
