Hello. We are ladada. We play instrumental, improvised rock music. We have a powerfully melodic lady trombonist and a trio of proper gents to do it. We grew up in garages listening to and playing music by bands like Sonic Youth, Shellac and Radiohead. After some time, talk of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and berets lead to playing in cafes; to people who didn't give a damn. That gets old fast (lemme tell you) and the desire to play very loud took hold. Since then we've got back down into the mud, dug around a bit and strode home triumphently with something... It's got the improvisational guts of jazz music with the sounds and intensity of indie rock. Please enjoy.
