Ladie Dee is the musical incarnation of Katie Scott, a New Zealand ex-patriot with a blue heart and traveller's mind. A range of influences sweep through the music - from Elliott Smith to Bjork, Jeff Buckley to Portishead. Reflecting tiny snatches of everyday moments in life the stories contained in these songs turn warmly in a blanket of metaphor as the melodies simply and slowly unfurl.
