Melissa and Jake met over a Drum Media ad placed clandestinely by Jake's mum in 2004, and despite these absurd beginnings their lives have been closely intertwined since. Both study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and enjoy classical, electro-acoustic and indie musical pursuits in equal measure. Melissa supplements her activities at the Con with a stint in the Sydneian Bach Choir and a snobby classical record store job. Jake strives, in his music, for a synthesis of electronic influences and delicate melodic, instrumental elements.
