Local Brisbane Indie / Prog Rock act, "Lair Eon" formed early in 2007 under the name "The Matchless Armada". With the intention of bringing a style of music to their local scene that they believed to be previously neglected, drawing influence from bands such as The Mars Volta, Radiohead and The Mint Chicks. Since then, they have gone on to play regular gigs around the local live circuit, and are currently planning the release of their second studio EP available early 2009.
